Here were the front-page headlines: “Hundreds apply for 60 jobs at the zoo.” (The actual number was 400 and the 60 jobs were only temporary, summer, food services help.) More headlines: “48 majors, 450 jobs may be cut at MTSU.” (If you are not from Tennessee, MTSU stands for Middle Tennessee State University.)
