Spiritual Gifts

This past Friday, March 20th, I had the awesome privilege to teach on spiritual gifts to the staff at Interlinc. Interlinc is a ministry started by a good friend of mine, Allen Weed several years ago. Their purpose is to connect Christian artists to local youth groups through a variety of methods. For a long time, years ago, I wrote Bible studies for Interlinc and so it was good to reconnect with them. Thanks, Allen, for the opportunity to share an overview of spiritual gifts with your great people. (If you would like more information about Interlinc, go to their website, www.interlinc-online.com.) If you are interested in listening to my presentation, you can find the audio of it in the left-hand column of this website, under “Connect Cast.”

You can’t outgive God, no matter where you are in life!

On Sunday, March 15, God again was AWESOME in our place!!!  He meets with us each week in such a supernatural way that words cannot explain, you have to experience it!  It’s wonderful to hear everyone share how He is working in each person’s life at just where that person is, He’s INCREDIBLE!!!  We’ve been talking about taking the opportunity to “Give” when God gives you the chance or you will be the one to miss out on the blessing, not just the person who is in need.  About a month ago, we needed to remove some dead trees at the house in Columbia that we’re trying to sell.  These trees are over 100 years old and Huge!!!  We had to rent a lift just to get them down safely!  It took 2 entire days, Phil taking 2 days off of work, with both of us hauling wood to the street, along with Jeremy, Kyle and his friend. …[read more]

WOW!

What else can be said about our worship time this morning? (March 15th). What an incredible time we had sharing, singing, praying, laughing, and crying together. I am so proud to be part of such an alive community. If you were there today, then you know what I am talking about. So, that’s got me thinking. Why don’t we use this blog to give praise and glory to God for what He is doing and is going to do through FCC! If you shared this morning, share again in response to this blog. If you did not share this morning, now is your chance. Register and blog, or email me your story and praise and I will post it on the blog. My email is kevin@franklincommunitychurch.org. I look forward to hearing from you.
