200,000 Miles

My truck went over the 200,000 mile mark today (Wednesday, February 4, 2009). It’s a 1996, blue, Chevy Silverado. I purchased it several years ago. The day I bought it was also my son’s first day in Kindergarten. Now he is in Eighth Grade. Back when I bought the truck it had 68,000 miles on it. Now, 132,000 miles later, it is still running strong. Over the years I have replaced tires, brakes, air-conditioning, and even a new transmission, but all in all it has been a dependable truck.
