The Dark Knight

WARNING: IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE NEW BATMAN MOVIE YOU MAY NOT WANT TO READ THIS BLOG. (IF YOU DO IT COULD RUIN THE ENDING FOR YOU.)

I saw the new Batman movie the other day. Overall I liked it. If you have not seen it yet, you need to. I really don’t want to discuss the movie as a whole, rather, I want to mention a thought I had about the end of the movie.

At the end of movie Batman becomes the “anti-hero.” (I warned you not to read this if you have not seen the movie.) Along with his detective friend, Batman decides to take the blame for all the crimes and autrocities that have been going on in Gotham City. He becomes everything that symbolizes evil! The movie ends with the authorities committed to tracking Batman down, holding him responsible for everthing that had gone wrong. (It will make a great sequal.) As Batman is fleeing from the screen, the detective is explaining to his son why Batman must take all the ills of the city on himself.
